  The school year is off to an incredible start, and our explorers are already settling into the adventure ahead! The first couple of weeks have been filled with excitement as we remind our students of the **PRIDE** values that guide every Cypress adventurer: *Purpose, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Doing the Right Thing, and Expect Excellence*. These core principles will help our students navigate the journey through learning, exploration, and personal growth. We hope you’ll help your young explorers practice these values at home so they can continue their quest for excellence!

  
  

  Mark Your Maps: The Annual FOAM is Around the Corner!

  Our next big adventure is coming up on Friday, September 27th – the ANNUAL FOAM RUN! This is one of the most fun-filled events of the year, and we invite all families to join the adventure. Expect foamy trails, laughter, and an unforgettable journey as we come together to support our school. Whether you're running, cheering, or enjoying the festivities, there’s a role for every adventurer!

  
  

  But the Foam Run is more than just fun – it’s a mission that directly impacts our explorers’ journey in two big ways:

  
  

  1. Teacher Grants – Every explorer needs the right tools for their journey! The funds raised allow teachers to purchase essential classroom materials that directly impact your explorer's learning journey and enrich it with exciting and meaningful experiences.

  
  

  2. Field Trips – Every explorer loves a good expedition! We believe in fueling the whole-child experience by getting our students off-campus to explore new worlds through field trips. However, travel can be costly. The funds from the Foam Run help cover transportation costs, entrance fees, etc. making it possible for our students to embark on these valuable learning adventures.

  Behind every great adventure is a team of dedicated explorers, and that’s where YOU come in! By joining the PTA, you’re helping support the very heart of our students’ learning and development. The PTA plays a crucial role in funding experiences like field trips, teacher grants, assemblies, and so much more... and we need your help to continue this important mission. Please mark your calendar to remember that all Tuesdays are early dismissals at 12:10 p.m.

District K-5 schools have a mandatory uniform/standardized dress policy adopted by the Board of Education. This policy provides an opportunity for students to dress neatly for school, and it helps students to look at others’ character instead of their attire.

Due to slipping and tripping issues, crocs and sandals are NOT ALLOWED as they are a safety hazard.
