Dress your Best!! CADY photographers will be at CCA 12/15 to take pictures for each home campus Yearbook. All scholars grades 9-11 will take their picture in the morning between 8:40 and 11:00. Seniors who only want the Yearbook picture will take their picture between 12:00 and 2:00.

AND - bring a change or something to show off your class colors for the Pep Rally!

During 6th period Friday, Dec 15, we will hold a pep rally sponsored by the CCA Parent Booster Club.

CCA Scholars chose class colors in their AVID classes - Wear your class colors:

- 9th grade = Red

- 10th grade = Green

- 11th grade = Blue

- 12th grade = Pink

Get ready to celebrate all our successes!!

Senior Parents: We are looking for volunteers to help with providing a CCA Senior breakfast (Jan. 11) for our seniors. We need help with donating food & decorations, set-up/clean-up, decorating, etc. Contact Angela Parramore @ 214-537-3622

Senior Information:

*We have been informed that FAFSA will be open on Dec. 31st. Parents and your senior need to MUST create an FSA ID (If you don't already have one) before you can complete the FAFSA. Seniors have already done this in AVID class. FAFSA is now a TX state graduation requirement for all seniors. Mrs. Gilbreath will be available in January for any assistance to complete FAFSA and the district will also be hosting some nights to assist as well.

*Seniors have a CCA Senior Trip planned for May 13th to Urban Air in Southlake. Use the link below to pay for the trip. All payments must be made by no later than Dec. 8th .

*If you would like your senior's picture in the home campus (NCHS or CHS) yearbook, you must set up a session with CADY. This is the only company they use for senior pictures in yearbook. Pictures must be taken before Jan. 13th.

*Mrs. Gilbreath has been working VERY diligently with the seniors to complete ALL of their college applications and lots of scholarships this semester. Please talk with your senior to see where their application status is. It is very important that they meet these deadlines and get applications completed earlier than later.
