FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITY: The Art of Food
10:30am–12:00pm
Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU
Join us for stories and an art activity about cooking, gardening, culture, and families, with K-3 ages in mind. Older children and adults are also welcome to participate. One adult from your party should remain with children and young adults at all times as they participate in the activity. This is a drop-in program, you may join us anytime between 10:30am-12:00pm. Parking is free in most Green lots at WSU on Saturdays. For additional information about this event see our web event page and for more parking information, see our visit page.
Moscow Contemporary
We are getting closer to our Grand Opening, Oct. 18th 6:00-9:00pm at our new home in the Palouse Mall! We have a few new and returning workshops this month and next!

Middle School Basketball
The middle school boys basketball season will start on Monday October 21st
7th and 8th A team selection practices in the Bear Den.
6th grade intramural practices will begin on Wednesday October 23rd in the Bear Den.
All athletes will need to register for our middle school basketball team through Register My Athlete (https://www.registermyathlete.com/). All registration paperwork needs to be completed and uploaded into Register My Athlete 24 hours prior to the start of the first practice. Athletes who do not have a current sports physical (sports physicals are good for 2 years) will not be allowed to participate in practice. If you have any questions, you can contact the middle school Activities Director, Mitch Running, at runningm@msd281.org.
Hip Hop Club Now Open to 5th Grade!
Hip Hop Club is now open to 5th graders, as well as Middle School students. The club meets Wednesdays 3:05-4:15PM (New time!). Give the first class a try for free. If your student decides to join, cost is $15 per month or $60 per semester. We appreciate payment in advance.

Community Circle Dates for K-5
Parents are welcome to attend community circles with kindergarten through 5th grade. They're held on Fridays beginning at 8:30. Each community circle celebrates an EL Design Principle.

Music Lessons with Teacher Jodi
PPCS music teacher Jodi Fisher is still offering some after school private music lessons this fall. Options include piano, guitar, ukulele, or voice. Time slots are limited so sign up quickly! Soup's On!
Latah Recovery Center is stirring up something delicious with their 6th Annual Soup's On! fundraiser where they ladle out bowls of soup and breads from over half a dozen local restaurants, creating a delicious stew of community soup-port for friends, neighbors, and co-workers in recovery.
Wednesday, November 6 from 11 to 2 a the 1912 Center. Tickets are available for $20 each from Recovery Center Board members, at the Moscow Food Co-op or by sending a check to 531 S. Main.
