Starting Monday - Door 1 will be Closed for Construction!
Dear Families - Our last couple of weeks have been fast and furious! It was so wonderful to connect with all of you during the Bridges Spaghetti Dinner! Our Math Masters teams represented Bridges well! Thank you to Mrs. Carleton for her dedication to making this happen for our students! Congrats to the students who participated. This past Saturday many of our Bridges students participated in the Regional Science Fair at MSU, M! It was wonderful to check in with each of the students! We also showed up and represented Bridges in a HUGE way! We also enjoyed Walk & Bike to School Day this week! It was wonderful to spend the morning out in the fresh air with many of our students and families! Thank you for your continued partnership in all of the amazing learning experiences for our students!
This week we completed our MCA tests in grades 3-5. We are excited to see how our students have done and we are happy they took the test seriously to help guide our curriculum decisions.
I wanted to let you know of a couple teacher staffing changes for next school year. We welcome Tricia Conetta (our current mentor coach) to grade 3 with Mrs. Hatlestad with the resignation of Ms. Gerber. In grade 4, we welcome Mrs. Moore with the retirement of Mrs. Townsend.
Next week is teacher appreciation week! Our teachers and staff at Bridges are amazing! I am beyond grateful for their guidance and support to all of our students. Their passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is truly inspiring, and I am thankful for each teacher in making connections to the real world, accepting each child for who they are and guiding them to learn in their own way and making an amazing impact on our future!

Ground Breaking for our New Bridges Secure Office
It is an exciting time for Bridges Community School. Starting the week of April 29th, we will have fencing around door 1 to begin the construction of our New Secure Entrance and office spaces. On Friday, May 3rd we will have a groundbreaking!
What does this mean for drop off and pick up:
- All students will be dropped off by door 2.
Our K-3 students will come in door 2 with a staff member on morning duty (classroom teachers).
Our 4-5 students will come in door 3 with a staff member on morning duty (Mr. Reedstrom and/or Mr. Burger).
All pick-ups will also go out through door 2.
The call box from door 1 will be moved to door 2.
What if I drop off or pick up my child during the school day for an appointment or illness:
Drop off and pick up will be through door 3 by the parking lot. Please be careful when driving through the parking lot as students are often outdoors on the blacktop! Parents, we have buses that come to the back side of our building, please DO NOT park by any entrances and please drive slowly when coming through the back lot. Thanks!
