Thank you to our families with children new to junior high at Lakeland Ridge who were able to make it out to our Junior High Information night last week! Option selections close at the end of the day on Monday, April 14th.

Junior High Programming Information

We are looking for community members with backgrounds in engineering, art, or math to run an engaging station for students! This could be a hands-on activity, demonstration, or interactive exhibit that sparks curiosity and excitement.

For example, we already have some fantastic organizations confirmed, including the Edmonton Geological Society (geology & rock science), Strathcona County Utilities Outreach (recycling & seed planting), Steamoji (makerspace activities), Strathcona County Robotics, Callysto (data science), and the Strathcona County Library (STEAM resources).

Students, families and staff are invited to learn more about the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) and Collegiate Pathways—part of the new Campus EIPS. Learn from industry experts, Career Pathways staff, and current and former RAP students.

The same session will be offered in person at two locations:

• Tuesday, April 29
  6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  Fort Saskatchewan High

Make the most of your summer with more than 40 senior high courses, students can earn credits, upgrade marks, lighten their workloads or finish needed prerequisites.
