Wow! It was a great first week with our New to LPS teachers. I am super excited for you to meet them and they are just as excited to meet our Lions. We were fortunate to add new teaching assignments as our school is growing. You will see many new faces, you will also see our veterans too!

As a way to enhance our communication, in the Mane News, you will see new weekly sections that will be introducing our new and current staff. I would love for you to get to know all of our staff.

First Day of School is August 12th. New School Hours 7:50am to 4:20pm. The doors will open at 7:30 for students.

Parents, there are changes to our traffic flow to be aware of for the beginning of the year. The parking lot to the administration for the church will be blocked off. There will not be entry to their parking lot. If you choose not to utilize car pool, then you will need to park in the back by the soccer field. This is marked on the map in yellow. Also, students should be picked up promptly by 4:50pm. Students can not be left on any part of the property unattended. This is for their safety.

Also, if your student is a driver the are noted in green is the only area that is for student parking. It requires a parking pass. If students park in any other area on the property and without a parking pass, they are subject to be towed.

We are so excited to have our 2nd Annual Back-to-School Bash! Schedules, Trust Cards, Yearbook Sales, Join PTO, Uniform Purchase, School Supply Fees, and more!

August 7th from 9:00am - 4:00pm in the Secondary Gym. This will be the only day that you can pay for your secondary student's supply fees with CASH!

Student fees will be added to My School Bucks before the start of school. You will receive a notification once the fees are added to your account with instructions on how to pay.

Attached is the fee schedule if you choose to take advantage of our "cash" day on August 7th, during our Back-to-School Bash.

We are excited to continue to offer Student Enrichment Service for after hours care to our students. Mrs. Skinner's program is privately ran and has been a part of LPS for the past 6 years. If you are interested or would like to register your student, please see her website.
