Rain, rain, go away..... If the wet weather is getting you down, join us for Open Gym tonight from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Donna Shepard. This is a great opportunity for learners to have some fun and unwind with friends. The entry fee is just $5.00, and weβd love to see everyone there!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for Hope Week, coming up November 18-22. Itβs a time for us to come together as a school community to promote positivity, kindness, and support for one another.
Please take a look at more events and reminders below!
- Mansfield ISD is hosting our first-ever Innovation Expo on March 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jim Vaszauskas Center for Performing Arts. Weβre inviting all learners to showcase their creative and innovative solutions by submitting projects in Dynamic Storytelling, Smart Solutions, Digital Masterpieces, or Community Innovations. The submission deadline is January 31, 2025, so start brainstorming your ideas! Additional details can be found in the flyer and on our website.
- Weβre focusing on keeping our arrival process safe and efficient. As part of this effort, weβre asking families to take a few minutes to help learners tidy up their backpacks. With items collecting as the year goes on, removing unnecessary things like extra cords, unused supplies, old snacks, and electronics can help speed up the Evolv process each morning. Additionally, some itemsβlike umbrellas, metal glasses cases, and large zipper bindersβmay trigger the system. To help, learners may carry these items out in front for a quick scan without slowing down the process.
- Mandatory parent meeting for sophomores attending Galveston trip on TEAMS on Monday, November 18th at 5:30 p.m. Click here to join.
- Please consider supporting our school library through our ongoing fundraiser; you can find the list of requested books here.
