We are Panthers! We show P.R.I.D.E! We are Prospect!
May 27th-May 31st
Happy end of the school year! It has been another great year, and I want to thank you for your partnership and support. Prospect is an amazing place to be each and every day.
I will truly miss our fifth grade class. They are extra special to me, as they were Kindergarteners when I first started at Prospect. I have had the privilege of watching them grow and mature into the incredible students they are today. I wish them the best of luck on their new adventure!
Have a wonderful and safe summer and I look forward to seeing you in August!
Principal Experiences
The last few weeks have been incredibly fun and fulfilling as I've participated in various principal experiences students won this school year. I've enjoyed spending time having lunch with third graders, cruising around in a Hummer limo with fourth graders and Mrs. Turrentine, and even training a new principal for the day. These principal experiences were all part of the Panther PRIDE Fest and the parent spring auction, adding a special touch to these wonderful events.
Full Day Kindergarten and Playground
Prospect School does not need to have summer construction to create new classrooms for Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) since we have enouch classrooms. FDK is due to a state mandate and will benefit many students. For more details and a timeline, visit the district website: https://www.d181.org/departments/buildings-grounds/fdk
Construction will begin June 3rd on the new playground.
