Important Update: Weekly Newsletter
To streamline communication, our school will use the weekly newsletter as the primary way to share updates and important information. Rather than posting multiple times a week on ParentSquare, we will consolidate key announcements in the newsletter.
Coaches and teachers will continue to use ParentSquare as their main tool for communication.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to check their notifications regularly for important messages, schedules, and announcements.
To ensure you receive timely updates, please keep your contact information current in Skyward.
Please be sure to check it regularly to stay informed!
6th Grade Camp - IMPORTANT
Dear Families,
We are excited for our upcoming 6th Grade Outdoor Education Week at YMCA Camp Colman! Below are important details and links for registration, payment, and chaperone sign-ups.
To continue providing a high-quality experience for all students, we’ve had to adjust the family contribution from $25 to $40 due to unexpected cost increases. We appreciate your understanding and want to reassure you that the new total still reflects a $130 savings off the actual camp cost.
Today, your student received an information packet (see attached) along with the YMCA Release of Liability form, which must be completed and returned to the science teacher.
Dates: April 14-16 (BYRD's Science Classes) or April 23-25 (GUILLEN's Science Classes. Students who are in not in Byrd's or Guillen's science class they will go to the 2nd session on April 23-25

Parking Lot Safety
If you opt to drop-off or pick-up your student(s) in the Pioneer MS parking lot, please pull into a parking space and have the student(s) exit there, doing this helps traffic flow smoothly and allows everyone to walk safely to school.
Please remember that the handicap parking spaces and surrounding areas are not to be used for student drop-off or pick-up.
Also, please observe the posted speed limits in the school zone.
Thank you for helping keep our school and students safe.
