Mandatory Forms for the 2024-2025 School Year
ATTENTION: Parent Forms
In order for your student(s) to start school, a parent/guardian in Household 1 is required to fill out Parent Forms for their student(s) every school year through the PowerSchool SIS: Parents tile in the my.cherrycreekschools.org Parent Portal. Parent Forms include updating and verifying any medical needs your student(s) might have, emergency contacts, accepting district policies, and more. This information is critical in communicating with you as a parent/guardian and with providing support to your student(s). These forms are available starting July 8, 2024.
As you are updating the Parent Forms for your children, you are able to update your preferred language of communication. There will be a section for each parent/guardian that asks the following:
Do you want interpretation/translation services from English to another language for meetings and district communications? YES/NO
- If you select "YES", you will be given the opportunity to select the language into which you would like to have educational information interpreted or translated.
- If you select "NO", the language of communication for educational information will be in English only.
Cherry Creek Schools also provide language assistance services to families upon request. The main office of each school maintains a list of languages, and if you point to your language, an interpreter will be called at no cost to you. The Cherry Creek School District provides interpretation and translation services into languages other than English for all parents and guardians.
- Log in to my.cherrycreekschools.org with your e-mail address and password.
- If you do not remember your password, enter your e-mail address, click "Go" and then click the "Forgot password?" link to reset your password.
- *Select the "PowerSchool SIS: Parents" tile.
- You will be directed to PowerSchool and will see the name of your student(s) at the top. On the left menu, scroll to the bottom and click "Parent Forms."
- Once you fill out and submit Parent Forms, the form will be final. Please pay attention as you fill out these forms.
- Limited updates can be made using the "Guardian Update" tile in my.cherrycreekschools.org. These updates include adding contacts, phone numbers, and automated messaging preferences. For other updates, contact the school directly.
» Please access helpful guides for more detailed instructions on filling out Parent Forms.
ATTENTION: Chromebook User Agreement Form
The other important form that needs to be completed is a our CCA Chromebook User Agreement Form. This form is a Cherry Creek Academy form that you will not find in the CCSD portal. Because we are a 1:1 School (meaning that every child has their own personal Chromebook to use for the full year, we require parents to submit for each individual student the Chromebook Usage Agreement Form 2024-2025
This form must be completed in order for your child to receive their Chromebook in August.- The Chromebook Handbook can be found here.
Cherry Creek Academy offers yearly optional Chromebook Repair insurance for each student receiving a Chromebook. Insurance is available only until August 30th, 2024, before 11:59 p.m. The Chromebook Insurance is not active until 48 hours after payment. Please visit the CCA Revtrack store to purchase Chromebook insurance. $40 per school year, per student. Payment can be made either online, by cash, or by check to CCA. Insurance covers 50% of all damage claims. (Example: A screen replacement with insurance would cost $80 instead of the regular $160 fee.) Recommended for 4th-8th grade.
Create Your New Volunteer Account!
Dear CCA Volunteers,
On Monday, July 1, 2024, we wiped our Volunteer Database (Volgistics) to keep it up-to-date. Please create your new 2024-2025 school year account by visiting this link: Volgistics Create a New Account. Please only create ONE account per household, as we are unable to link individual accounts.
If you have earned any summer hours, please add them to your new 2024-2025 Volunteer account in Volgistics.
As a reminder, all CCA families are required to volunteer 40 hours each school year. Single parents are required to volunteer 20 hours each school year. CCA will update each individual registered in Volgistics as a Volunteer at the end of each quarter. This report will help you track your volunteer hours throughout the school year. Be sure to select electronic emails in volgistics to receive these reminders.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at rbrooks@cherrycreekacademy.org.
Thank you for volunteering!
