Hawk Highlights
April 26 2023
From our Assistant Principal
Friends and Family of the Hollys,
It’s hard to believe that next week will be May. We will start off the month with a weeklong celebration of our teachers and staff. PTCO has organized some exciting and fun ways to appreciate the amazing staff that we have here at the Hollys! We can also look forward to upcoming performances and displays that allow our students to show off their many talents and hard work. Field Day is also coming up soon as well as many field trips and special classroom events.
It was amazing to see student artwork at our first-ever Art Show! Thank you Ms. Gilbert for all of your hard work setting up and facilitating the show. We also had a wonderful choir concert on the same evening, thank you, Ms. Mason, for all of your work preparing students for the performance! These spring celebrations are always bittersweet, because of the fun that they bring, but they also signal that the year is coming to an end. We also celebrated a wonderful Kindergarten performance this past week, it was amazing to see all of the student’s hard work as well as the dedication of the teachers.
Please remember that there is no school next Friday, May 5th. While we understand that May signals that the school year is almost over, it is still very important for students to be at school each day and on time. We still have new learning and opportunities for students to grow academically before they leave for summer break and move to the next grade.
With Excitement,
Robert Romero
Assistant Principal
