A basic usage and overview of ED including best practices for teaching at home, choosing meaningful resources, assignments to work at home, assessments, and reporting.
How to Earn Credit!
To earn credit for today's session, complete the following activities.
- Take Pre-Assessment and capture a screenshot or snip of completion.
- Watch the Webinar: Navigating and Using Resources on Ed
- Complete three activities to demonstrate understanding and mastery of specific tasks utilizing the HMH Online Learning Platform reviewed on Webinar.
- Submit items (artifacts/deliverables) via Badge List(Link below).
- Complete the Post-Assessment and capture a screenshot or snip of completion.
- After clicking on the Badge List link below, be sure to join the badge. Enter and upload artifacts/deliverable evidence and request feedback to obtain credit.
I would recommend having a Word Document handy to drop screenshots or snips of artifacts (also referred to as deliverables) as you complete various activities. It may be just as easy for you to save the images on a file. At the end of the session, the images will be submitted to Badge List for course credit.

After watching the WEBINAR complete the following activities:
Activity 1: Using the HMH Help Center
Go to the help center feature, find the section marked Tutorial Videos. Expand that section to reveal a list of video titles that offer support to the HMH user. Take a screen shot or snip of the list showing a variety of videos beginning with First Time Logging In to Student Experience.
Activity 2: Create a Student Assignment
Using the Create Assignments Quick Resource Guide (attached below), create an assignment, complete the assignment fields as shown, and assign an assignment to some students in your class. Take a Screenshot(s) or snip(s) of the assignments created and available to those students. This will be submitted towards course credit.
Activity 3: Adding Feedback to an Online Assignment
Use what you observed in the Webinar and the Ed:Your Friend in Learning Teacher Help Tool to support your understanding of how to add feedback to a student's assignment. You will answer a reflection question on Badge List.
