Dear Parents/Carers,

Forest School has been the main focus of this week. It has been fantastic to see the children so engaged and full of joy in the outdoors. Mr Symes has once again pulled a fun packed week out of the bag – a big thanks to him for all of the extra work has needed to do to pull this together.

We had a visit from the STAR MAT School Improvement Officer on Tuesday. She came to speak to staff and children and found they were incredibly positive about life at school. As we would expect, there are a couple of areas for us to work on but nothing came as a surprise and wasn’t already on our radar.

Next Thursday is the first of our Parent’s evenings. It looks like we are going to have a good turnout so if you haven’t yet booked, make sure you use the link to make an appointment.

We’ve all had a great week enjoying the sunshine and getting stuck into Forest School. Each class has made bread, built dens, and been on bug hunts. A big thank you to Mr Symes, who’s put lots of effort into the week and ensured everyone has had a brilliant time. Year 2s and 3 have been busy practising for their Easter show—we can't wait to see it soon! Have a lovely weekend.
