From the Office:
If you need to make a change of transportation, please contact the office in writing by 3pm.
Please do not let car riders out of your car until you see the adults come out to greet them in the morning (8:18). Please do not drop your child off in the area around the school and have them walk up to school to avoid the car rider line.
From the Counselors:
February 3rd to the 7th is National School Counseling Week! To celebrate, the counselors will be popping into lunches to lead a “Coping Strategies Bingo” activity.
For 6th Grade Parents: Please make time on your calendar to attend the Belton Middle School Enrollment Night on Thursday, February 13th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Families will select which classes they want their incoming 7th grader to have as electives. Please look for more information this week or contact Mr. Steuer with questions.

Spring Book Fair Info
Looking ahead, the book fair will be held from 3/31-4/4 this spring!
All funds generated from the fair go to our author visit that is booked for the 2025-2026 school year, so we appreciate your shopping with us!
Parents can set up e-wallet as a payment option so kids don’t have to carry cash on them. This is an excellent way for kids to shop without worry! Parents, grandparents, etc. can load money onto kids’ accounts and they can pay from the account at the register. To create an e-wallet, follow these steps:
Go to this website Fair Finder (https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/fair-finder.html)
Search up Mill Creek Upper Elementary by name or zip code
Click on “Go to eWallet” (scroll down about halfway through the page)
Fill out the form.
If setting up e-Wallet for more than one child, there is an “add a kid” option.
OPTIONAL: print out the barcode to send to the fair. This is the only place where added “notes” are available, so if you want to put restrictions on what your child can purchase (ex. Only one graphic novel, no posters, etc.) you should print! Otherwise, it isn’t needed.
Any unspent funds stay on their e-wallet until the next book fair or online Scholastic order.
Library focus
