Principal's Message
Tomorrow is our much-anticipated Science Fair is just around the corner! This year's event promises to be a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and scientific exploration. Our students have been hard at work conducting experiments, testing hypotheses, and uncovering the wonders of the world around them. From fascinating projects exploring the mysteries of the cosmos to hands-on experiments investigating environmental sustainability, there's something for everyone to marvel at. There will be a food truck available for dinner and a reptile petting zoo! I am looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!
In the Classroom
This Friday, our 4th and 5th graders will be visited by Maria Scrivan, author of the "Nat Enough" graphic novel series that is well circulated in our library and will be a recognizable name for a lot of our students. We are so excited to have Maria visit our Mustangs and share her writing process and inspire our budding writers.
SEL Day is March 8
Walnut Creek School District believes that social and emotional learning is an integral part of educating our students. In support of SEL Day (March 8), consider reviewing our district standards or visiting our Parents Guide to Social Emotional Learning site.
Wishing all of our families who will be observing, a blessed Ramadan.
