The Weekly Update #4

What a great showing for the RCHS Quiz bowl members at our 2nd meet of the season this year at Lawrenceburg. Our Science team of ( left to right in picture) Connor Lyda, Vance Cupp, and Geo Wells tied for 2nd in their contest. Our Interdisciplinary team of ( back row picture left to right) Connor Lyda, Geo Wells, Vance Cupp, ( front row of picture left to right) Sophia Morgan, Bethany Wyrick, Kloey Kadri, Londyn Whittaker, Malorie Webb, and Cora Morgan, tied for 1st place in their contest. I ( back row right) am so proud of these kids as is Ms. Adams. ( back row left). Our next meet is October 28th at East Central @ 5:30 pm.

What a week it has been! AT the October Board meeting we had FOUR RCHS staff members and students recognized. We had our RCHS Student of the Month Kemper Sites, our staff member of the month Hannah Augsburger, The Whitewater Career Center student of the month was RCHS Junior Kyle Jacobs, and our head custodian here at RCHS Mike Owens was recognized by Assistant Superintendent Mr. Peters as his staff member of the month. It is great to be represented in this way but even better of the work ethic and the character of all four of these people. We are a very lucky place 5to have such class staff and students in our building!!

Brittney Corum - Shout out to all the teachers that wore their Academic Team shirts in support of the team Monday. I greatly appreciate it.

Megan Davis - Shout out to the teachers in the resource room. Our schedules have been crazy and you all seem to come together and make things run smoothly.

Megan Davis - Shout out to Nan. There has been a lot on your plate the last couple of weeks and you are doing amazing, do not forget that!

Shea Gerrian - Shoutout to Sami Deley for working so hard to fill such a big role! You're doing a great job and are a pleasure to work with. :)

Collin McCartt - Shout out to Hannah Augsburger, Heidi Cox, Christin Nicholls, Riley Hoeing, Pat Haney, and Keith Perin for stepping up and covering classes when there was a shortage of subs!

Brad Lawler - SHOUT OUT to Dr. Nahlik. Her newsletters are awesome!!!

Anne Rosario - Shout out to Brooke Edwards for offering creative classes and putting in so much time to be helpful around the school. We appreciate her.

Anne Rosario - Shout out to Mr. McCartt for consistently publishing the school's to-do list early in the day.

Anne Rosario - Shout out to all of the people involved in putting on successful athletic events. There are so many people working before, during and after events to make us stand out.

Cassia Sherwood - Shout out to Christin Nicholls for quickly bailing me out (during her prep) when my plans fell through at the last minute!

Every day our Fire and Rescue students do a Gear Check. They have to put on all equipment necessary to go out on a run in under 2 minutes. The pride these kids take in this is incredible. Mr. Tracy has done a great job working with these kids and they are all very passionate!!
