Celebrating Sportsmanship: The Texas Way
As part of The Texas Way Sportsmanship Initiative, our coaches demonstrated the importance of respect and camaraderie by introducing themselves to the officials before the game and taking a moment to connect. This initiative, "Shake a Hand, Make a Friend," emphasizes the values of integrity, respect, and building positive relationships in athletics.
We encourage our parents and athletes to join us in embodying these principles by showing good sportsmanship during games—cheering positively, respecting officials' decisions, and treating all players, coaches, and fans with kindness. Together, we can ensure sports remain a rewarding and respectful experience for everyone.
