Wiggin Street Parent Update
December 8, 2023
Better Together
Families,
We have a great 7 days left before winter break. We have the Grades 3-5 Winter Program on Tuesday at Rosse Hall. The kids are very excited to perform for you all. The Holiday Shop is Friday in the gym, and you are welcome to shop with your student at 8:30 am. Otherwise, the kids will be shopping with their classrooms throughout the day. Also, we have the Gingerbread Play on Monday, the 18th. I'm so excited to see the kindergarten students perform in the gym with the new sound system!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
Christy Grandstaff

Grades 3-5 Winter Program; December 12th
Holiday Shop and FOW
The Holiday Shop is set for Friday, Dec 15th! Parents can join their kids for shopping from 8:30-9:00am, and students will be shopping with their class in groups from 9:00-11:50. All students will be bringing home an envelope on December 11th, with a list attached for students to indicate who they will be shopping for. Keep in mind when sending money for shopping, the max price of an individual item at the Holiday Shop is $5. The envelope can be returned to school with cash prior to the 15th. This is a CASH only event.
Any students that will not be shopping will still have the opportunity to make an ornament. These are provided by Friends of Wiggin Street. These will come home immediately in a gift bag and name label. Happy Shopping!
Next FOW meeting is Dec. 5th @ 5:00 pm in the school library.
Gingerbread Man Play
Run, run, as fast as you can to see our Kindergarten classes perform "The Tale of the Gingerbread Man" play! Students should arrive at 6:00 pm on Dec. 18th to get their costumes. Parents are welcome at that time to proceed to the gym with the performance beginning at 6:15 pm.
