Life is better at the L.A.K.E.
Lakeside Middle School - March 2025
As we begin our final quarter of the 2024-2025 school year, we have so much to look forward to and celebrate. Our spring sports have begun with track, soccer, and golf. Band and Chorus are both headed to performances while our Musical Theatre prepares to perform their spring musical. All of our clubs have been busy competing and truly putting Lakeside on the map with DECA and HOSA. Our robotics club has several teams heading to Worlds over the summer.
These last few months will fly by and it is important to stay informed and help your student stay focused. Make sure to check Canvas and Parent Portal weekly, if not daily, for assignments and study materials.
Our PTO has a fantastic week planned for our staff to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week in March. We would love to see all of our families involved in PTO. Do not forget to leave your legacy at Lakeside through their brick fundraiser- these bricks will be displayed in the courtyard of the new addition.
Our #1 goal is for our students to feel safe, connected, and thriving. We must do this as a community.
As a Lakeside community, we stand for Leadership, Attitude, Kindness, and Effort. It truly is Better at the LAKE.
BEHAVIOR REMINDERS
Please make sure that you are having ongoing conversations with your student about using kind words with everyone. This is not only in person, but on text messages and social media. It is vital that the school and home work together to ensure that all students understand the behavior rules and the consequences that occur when rules are broken. The end goal is to create good humans that are kind to one another.
