We have been enjoying our Waukazoo traditions this month and having so much fun! All of our students have been able to create crafts thanks to PTA's Winter Workshop. Each classroom attended a time this week to make crafts and get them wrapped for the holidays. A huge shout out to the parents supporting this event, especially with a snow day in the week! We are thankful for all the parents who organized and volunteered their time to help our students.
We also have hosted performances at school by the WOHS Jazz Band and also the WOHS Vocalaires! We are so thankful for these connections within our own WO community and were especially excited to see our former Waukazoo students.
We have an exciting spirit week planned for next week to celebrate the holidays and our Waukazoo community! See the days below:

- Tuesday- Home for the Holidays: College Gear
- Wednesday- Traditions Day
- Thursday- Holiday Headwear Day
- Friday- Holiday Wear (Ugly Sweater) Day
If you are volunteering for a class party next week, you MUST be volunteer approved to attend. If you have not already completed your profile, please fill it out as soon as possible. At this time, we cannot guarantee that if you fill out a form now through next week that it will be approved in time. If you do not know if you are approved, feel free to reach out to the Waukazoo office (616-786-1800).
After next Friday, West Ottawa students are on winter break. We will return to school on Monday, January 6. We hope your families have a restful, memorable time with your families over break!
