FREE After School Meal Program
Bloomfield Schools is proud to begin partnering with CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) & OPAA! for an after school snack program!
We have been offering this for a few weeks now, but wanted to iron out some details before we began advertising it. Any student who stays after school for any school activity (tutoring, practice, school events, etc.) will be eligible for a FREE snack. The sponsor, teacher, or coach who has a group stay after school turns a roster into our building offices, and our office staff takes care of getting that information turned in for the after school snack. Then as the school day ends, and students go to their respective group for after school activities, and those snacks will be there for them to have.
Again this is all completely FREE to our students, and we hope they enjoy this opportunity. We have received some really good feedback as this program has kicked off. A big thanks to our staff and our partners with OPAA! on getting this program started!
