📝Assessment Information📝
Assessment Expectations for all Testing
As we gear up for the upcoming state testing period, we want to ensure everyone is well-prepared and informed about the guidelines and procedures in place. These tests are crucial for evaluating student progress and shaping educational strategies moving forward. To ensure fairness and integrity, it's imperative that everyone adheres to the following guidelines:
1. Electronic Devices: Students are strictly prohibited from having any electronic devices during testing, including cell phones, earbuds, tablets, smartwatches, and cameras. These items must be collected by the test administrator or securely stored in the student's backpack until testing concludes. Even if switched off, electronic devices cannot be accessed by students during testing or breaks.
2. Accessing Other Content: Once a student submits their test, they must refrain from using any electronic devices to access non-testing content until the test administrator officially concludes the session. This includes refraining from browsing websites, watching videos, or engaging in gaming activities.
3. Consequences of Violations: If a student is found with an electronic device or accessing unauthorized content before, during, or after testing, their test will be invalidated. For students taking state End of Course (EOC) exams such as Algebra, Biology, Civics, Geometry, or United States History, an invalidated test will result in a zero, which will be calculated as 30% of the student’s grade.
4. Leaving Campus: If a student leaves campus before completing a test, they will not be permitted to return to that test. It's essential to ensure that students are present for the duration of their scheduled testing sessions to maintain test integrity.
5. Health and Attendance: If a student is feeling unwell on the day of testing, it may be advisable for them to wait and take the test on a makeup day. Additionally, we urge parents to avoid scheduling appointments on testing days to minimize disruptions to the testing process.
Senior Exam Information
Senior Exams will take place in the cafeteria beginning at 7:10 each day.
May 15th (Periods 1-3)
May 16th (Periods 4-6)
May 17th- Makeup
If your student is checking out early after their exams, please fill out this form by May 13th at 2pm.
District Exam Information Grades 9-11
9-11th Graders will have District Exams Wednesday, May 22nd - Friday, May 24th. The exam bell schedule is available below. Exams are required for students, so if students will be absent for any reason, their parent/guardian must complete a PRE-APPROVED ABSENCE FORM so that their exams can be taken at an earlier time. This form must be completed no later than Friday, May 17th.
If students will be here for exams and would like to check out early each day once their exams are completed, their parent/guardian must COMPLETE THIS FORM for pre-approval prior to 2 pm on Friday, May 17th. This will simplify the check-out process for the parent/student and our front office staff. If you miss this deadline, you will have to complete the traditional check-out process through the main office and this may cause delays in your child being checked out of school in a timely fashion.
SAT School Day Student Reports

Digital SAT testing update
As some of you are aware, Collegeboard has made the shift from paper based to computer-based testing in 2024. This new testing requires students to select testing on a device from their testing site or provide their own device to complete their test. CCHS is unable to provide computers for your child at this time. Bluebook must be downloaded to the device in order for your child to access their test ticket. If your child opts to provide their own device for SAT testing, the technical requirements are as follows:
You can run Bluebook™ on a Windows or Mac device, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook.
You cannot run Bluebook on a mobile phone.
Your device must be able to connect to Wi-Fi.
Before test day, disable or quit writing assistants (such as Grammarly), messaging apps, and other software that opens on startup and could disrupt testing. You can’t test unless Bluebook is the only application running.
On test day, your device must be fully charged; it will need to stay on for 3–4 hours. We also recommend you bring your device’s power cord or a portable charger, but you might not have access to an outlet.
For Windows
- You need to be running Windows 10 or 11 (except for Windows 10 in S mode and Windows 11 SE).
- Your device needs 250 MB of available disk space for 1 exam, plus an additional 50 MB for each additional exam.
- If you’re testing with a laptop, external keyboards are not permitted.
- External mice are permitted.
SAT: External keyboards are permitted for Windows tablets.
For Mac
- You need to be running macOS 11.4 or later.
- Your device needs 150 MB of available disk space for 1 exam, plus an additional 50 MB for each additional exam.
- If you’re testing with a laptop, external keyboards are not permitted.
External mice are permitted.
For iPads
- Except for 17.0.0–17.0.3, you can run iPadOS 14 or higher.
- Your device needs 150 MB of available disk space for 1 exam, plus an additional 50 MB for each additional exam.
- External mice are permitted.
- SAT: External keyboards are permitted for iPads.
