Hello Dolphin Families!
We are so proud of our LMDES School Community for the spectacular start to the school year. Students are learning and making connections, have participated in safety drills (bus evacuation, fire drill), and are continuing to review and practice our school-wide expectations.
We have a full week of school and excellent opportunities ahead, including the opening of our LMDES Spirit Wear store!

Addressing Concerns at the Most Appropriate Level for Effective Resolutions
Ensuring your child’s safety and academic success is our top priority. With an elementary school of 500 students and just two administrators, we strive to manage our time effectively while providing personalized support. To help resolve any concerns as quickly and smoothly as possible, we ask that you reach out to the person closest to the situation:
- Classroom Concerns: Start by connecting with your child’s teacher or specialist, who is best positioned to help with classroom-related issues.
- Next Steps: If your concern isn’t resolved after speaking with the teacher, you may contact the assistant principal and, if necessary, the principal.
Please provide advance notice when requesting a meeting to avoid disrupting class time and to ensure we can provide uninterrupted attention.
Thank you for understanding and partnering with us to support your child’s success. We’re here to help every step of the way!
