KELLY SCHOOL UPDATES
Level-Up your Summer Learning Event
On Thursday evening, Kelly School families learned games to help them LEVEL UP their literacy and math skills over the summer. Through engaging games such as Sidewalk Chalk Math, Beach Ball Word Building, and A Pescar students practiced their math fact fluency, reading fluency, precision, and word building skills in both English and Spanish. All students took home resources that included chalk, beach balls and activities to continue playing these games during summer vacation. Thank you to all the Kelly School staff and families for helping this night to be such a success!
Crazy Hair Day
Crazy Hair Day brought out some serious creativity from Kelly third graders.
Reading Mentors
In a pilot partnership that will expand to a second elementary school next year, sixteen students at the Kelly School were partnered with trained older-adult volunteers who served as reading mentors in twice-a-week sessions. Even after only a three-month "dose," many kids made incredible growth in their reading fluency and comprehension. A few shared by reading aloud at this week's Literations End-of-Year Celebration. Here's to more reading partnerships in SY25-26!
SOKOLOWSKI SCHOOL UPDATES

During the last full week of science at the Sokolowski School, students are learning about how to stay safe in the sun this summer. We even got to play with UV color changing frisbee! We hope everyone has lots of safe summer fun!!
