Shout outs and Updates
Shout out to the Staff of the Month - Yesenia Chica for working tirelessly to ensure focus was updated, all students were enrolled and had schedules.
Shoutout to the Teacher of the Month- Brenda Gomez for exemplifying teamwork, she has subbed classes, done extra duty and anything we have asked we are thankful for having such a team player.
On another note, we are sad to announce that Ms. Trudeaus last day will be next Friday October 4th. We wish her well on her future endeavors. If you know anyone looking for a middle school math position, please let me know or have them email me over their resume.
School Grade Update
It is with great enthisiam i share that we have won our school grade appeal and our school is officially a C school. Thank you for all the hard work for our returning staff. Lets aim for the B this year.
PE/Planning
I am in the process of onboarding new day to day subs to ensure we have coverage for planning daily. Monday we will be short staffed and will likely need to split some classes and there will be no Spanish coverage. This should be resolved soon as I have quite a few applicants for day-to-day subs currently who just need to be onboarded, trained and fingerprinted. Hang in there.
Please extend Coach Johnson some grace when he is running a few minutes late to cover your room. Remember he is sometimes taking multiple classes back to their teacher and coming from downstairs to upstairs. If he is more than 7 minutes late, please reach out to Admin. When he is absent, we will announce this at huddle.
Penny Wars
Penny wars end on Monday at 3pm. Please count and bring your change to Ms. Irvine by 4pm. Winner will be announced on Tuesday's morning announcements and the pizza party will take place on October 17th
Please sort your coins, I have ziploc bags if you need some.
Please see above for Spirit week. This does not start until October 7th
