Hello Pevely Families.

This week, we have Family Friday Reading at 2:30PM. All students are welcome to invite a family member to come read with them in their classroom until 3:00PM.

• Before visiting classrooms, Brock Murphy from Parent ProTech will be in the cafeteria starting at 2:00PM to discuss online safety, the Parent ProTech platform, and any questions you may have about apps, social media, etc. Please see the form below for specific questions that you may have so he can answer them in his presentation.
• If you are planning to sign-out your student after Family Friday Reading, please make sure you have your household password. If you do not know your password, you will need to visit the front office (or call ahead of time) so your ID can be verified prior to releasing your student.
• The car line will start at 3:20PM to allow for everyone attending to exit the parking lot before getting blocked by the car line. Please find a place to park if you arrive before 3:20PM for pick-up.

There will not be a newsletter next week as it is such a short week. We do not have school on Wednesday, November 27-Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving Break. We hope you have a fun, safe, and relaxing Thanksgiving Break with your family and friends!

Brock Murphy, Chief Executive Officer, at Parent ProTech will be visiting during our November Family Reading date on November 22nd! He will be sharing technology-related tips and information for families while guests wait to enter classrooms, starting at 2:00PM.

For him to present the information that your family needs most, he would like to hear from you! Please complete this survey if you are planning to attend the November Family Reading date so he can prepare information about your questions and needs!

We have been seeing a slight increase in Head Lice cases recently. As colder weather comes and students are wearing hats, scarves, hoods, etc. to school, please remind your student of only wearing their own personal items and keeping them in their backpack when not in use inside the classroom. Please see the information below regarding Head Lice and how to properly treat it.

Immediate Need! We could really use some extra gym shorts, gym pants, leggings, and T-shirts for kids of all sizes. Items can be dropped off at Senn Thomas Middle School, Attn: Joycie Gonzalez-Meyer
