• Front doors will open at 7:30am. First bell rings at 8:15am. When students arrive on campus before 7:45am they will go to the gym, until they are released to class.
• Students who arrive after the 8:15am bell, will receive a Tardy, unless they have arrived to school on a late bus.

The A-G Student of the Week is Kyler Crowe,

nominated by Mr. Dorsett.

Kyler is a great student to have in class. His behavior and effort are top notch contributing to his ability to lead by example. As a result, he sets a great example for other students in class. - Austin Dorsett

The H-O Student of the Week is Esther Jeon,

nominated by Mrs. Reyna.

Esther is an amazing student with a positive attitude. She is always willing to help her teachers and peers and works really hard academically. - Katie Reyna

The P-Z Student of the Week is Natalia Uzcategui Puerta,

nominated by Mr. Dorsett.

Natalia is a pleasure to have in class. She is consistently not only meeting class expectations but is thinking deeper and is not satisfied until she has mastered the material. I can always count on her to be giving her absolute best effort with all assignments. She is a great role model for other students in class. - Austin Dorsett

1) Parents and Students,

During the February Board meeting, our trustees approved a new four-tier system for school hours. Attached below are details about the new school hours for the 2023-2024 school year. We have also included some helpful links for you to review.

2) Please note the changes to our dismissal process after Spring Break. The parking lot closest to the school will be blocked off for safety. Parents will no longer be allowed to park and pick up their student in the parking lot closest to the school.

Also, parents parking in the second parking lot, please do not pull out of your parking spot until your student is in your car and safely secure.

Our staff works diligently to protect all students and we need your help to keep our students safe at dismissal. Thank you.

PBIS Expectations & Rewards - PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports. One large piece is explaining expectations upfront. Another piece is rewarding students when we see those focused on positive behaviors. 3 campus-wide expectations posters (CLICK HERE) are placed throughout the campus. Teachers will take time during the first day or two to explain these rules in detail and help students understand what they look like. Our campus is also implementing new software (Classcraft) to encourage students to earn rewards and use them in many different ways. Please have your child download the app on their device and log into Classlink on the LCISD webpage (at the top) to start to explore what this is all about. They do NOT need a phone to do this. It can be done on a laptop or computer.

Parks Youth Ranch (PYR) invites families in the area to the 8th annual Go Fish at our property located at 11614 FM 361, Richmond, TX on Saturday, April 1, 2023. This family-friendly fishing derby allows kids of all ages the opportunity to experience fun in the great outdoors. PYR has two ponds stocked with catfish and bass, which means all participants will have a chance to catch that special fish. Lucky anglers who catch the first fish in their age group will receive a trophy.

No fishing experience or fishing license is required. Just bring your poles, we’ll provide the bait!

Wristbands for Go Fish are $20 for kids and adults. Your admission includes lunch, carnival style games, bounce houses and Story Time with Cristina of PaperPie (formerly Usborne Books).

Event underwriting and sponsorships are available starting at just $100.
