TEAM SPIRIT AND ATHLETIC PROWESS AT UNIFIED/DAPE DAY!
This Wednesday, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Unified/DAPE Day hosted by Milaca Public Schools alongside schools from across our area. What a day of athleticism and unity it was!
Our athletes competed in a variety of field events and track races, showcasing their skills in the softball throw, shot put, soccer kick, long jump, and the uniquely fun bowling ball roll. They also took on the track with determination, participating in 50 meter hurdles, 50 meter sprints, and the 200, 100, and 400 meter races.
Despite the chilly wind in the morning, our team's spirit was unbreakable. They braved the cold with smiles and then took full advantage of the sunnier afternoon to excel in the running events. Each athlete's effort was nothing short of spectacular, and the joy and camaraderie they displayed were truly heartwarming.
We are so proud of all our participants for their outstanding performances and for representing our school with such enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Here's to many more events where we celebrate inclusivity and the love of sports!
SWEET LEARNING IN MRS. BURSELL'S CLASS
In Mrs. Bursell's class, probability became as tasty as it is educational! Our students dove into the world of theoretical and experimental probability with a delicious twist—using M&Ms!
Each student became a mini-mathematician, predicting outcomes and then testing their hypotheses by actually counting and comparing their candy. It's not just about the numbers; it’s about seeing math in action, and what better way to learn than with some colorful, chocolatey fun?
