Greetings Mustangs!
This past week, we celebrated our August Mustangs of the Month! These students were selected from each class for consistently displaying outstanding citizenship and following our Mustang M.U.S.T. expectations. Please help me to congratulate each of our Mustangs of the Month for leading the way!
I hope that you enjoy your extended weekend! Remember, there is no school on Monday, September 5th as it's Labor Day. Students DO NOT report to school on Tuesday, September 6th as it is a remote instructional day. All students were provided with his/her assignments this past Friday. The provided assignments are for students to complete while home on Tuesday, September 6th. All assignments given will be asynchronous, and your child will not need to login to Microsoft Teams remotely for a lesson on this this day. Due to the FCS delay in device rollout, assignments assigned on this day will not require technology. If you have questions or concerns pertaining the remote learning assignments, please contact your child’s teacher via email.
SMILE FOR THE CAMERA! Fall picture day is on Thursday, September 8th for all students.
Cliftondale continues to receive funding as a Title I School. These funds support with student instruction, improve instructional strategies, and increase family engagement. Our Title I status is determined annually by the number of families participating in our free/reduced lunch program. We need your help Mustang-Parents! All we need is for you to complete a School Lunch Application for your household. It’s that simple! In addition, lunch was free for all students the last two year. This is no longer. To qualify for free/reduced lunch, you must complete a School Lunch Application.
Kind Regards,
Principal Canty
