AEHS Weekly Newsletter
December 8, 2024
Good evening, Einstein Community,
I am thrilled to begin my practicum experience tomorrow. This is an exciting opportunity, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be continuing my professional development alongside our students, staff, and the Einstein community. As mentioned in Mr. Brown’s letter, I will be serving as your principal until January 31. During that time, Mr. Brown will be providing support to Argyle Middle School before returning to Einstein the first week of February.
I am fully committed to the mission and vision of Einstein High School, and I look forward to continuing the progress we have made throughout the first months of the school year. To support both me and the school, Dr. John Garrick, Principal of Northwood High School, will be joining us at Einstein during the duration of my practicum. Dr. Garrick is no stranger to our school, having previously taught and led the English department. He visited last Thursday to begin meeting our staff and students and is excited to be at Einstein over the next two months. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to the school.
PTSA Meeting on December 17 has been canceled.
Reminder: Student ID Checks
Starting tomorrow, we will begin checking student IDs at the door. Students who forget or lose their IDs will be sent to the main office to check in and determine if a replacement is needed. Replacement IDs cost is $7.
This initiative has been shared with students during Titan TV throughout last week, giving them time to prepare. Our goal is not to create stress for students as they start their day, but rather to gradually incorporate the wearing of IDs as part of our everyday practices. We want to ensure that wearing IDs becomes a consistent part of our school culture.
I will be at the main entrance to help with the ID checks and look forward to greeting our students as they arrive.
Best,
Justin Krop
Principal Intern.
