PV VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
PV will have its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th at 10:00 A.M. in front of the building. The American Legion will perform a gun salute, so please do not be alarmed if you hear a noise at that time.
EMPTY BOWLS 2024
This year's Empty Bowls event will take place on November 11th. The purpose of Empty Bowls is to raise funds for local food charities and educate people around issues of poverty and hunger in their community. The core of the event is a dinner (on November 11th at Friendship Hall, FRC Pompton Plains) where, for a donation, guests gather to eat a bowl of soup and bread, then choose a ceramic bowl to bring home as a keepsake and reminder of the hunger that exists. Proceeds from the 2024 Empty Bowls Project will be donated to the Pequannock Food Pantry and the Grains of Hope program.
