Week 9: DNA and Cell Division
Mrs. Partin's Biology Class
Important Dates for the Week
Last week we finished with our focus on understanding the function of the mitochondria and cellular respiration. We also spent time understanding the basic structure of DNA. This week, we will resume our focus on understanding the function of the nucleus as we dive into understanding the function of DNA and why DNA has to make a copy of itself as we seek to understand cell division. Once we understand DNA replication, we will seek to understand the cell cycle as a cell divides itself for growth, development and repair.
Monday, 3/26: Review DNA structure, DNA Replication Notes, DNA Replication Practice, DNA Formative Assessment
