Artist Showcase
9th Grader, Stacie Gerkin recently had her artwork featured in a showcase at the Gallery at the Old Post Office in Hanover. Stacie will be a featured artist in the next three shows that the gallery hosts.

Pennsylvania State Police Hill Impact Program
Applications are now open for the Pennsylvania State Police Hill Impact Program. The program is a valuable opportunity for those aspiring to have a career in law enforcement.
The Hill Impact Program offers participants ages 15 through 18, a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of law enforcement training and education, including the History of the Pennsylvania State Police and Principles of Law Enforcement. This 14-week program emphasizes physical fitness, paramilitary disciplines, and law enforcement education.
The Hill Impact Program will begin mid-January and cadets will meet one day a week in the evening.
The Pennsylvania State Police Hill Impact Program is available at four different locations throughout the state:

Hi all, happy Friday! Here's our list of shoutouts for the week!
- Gracias to ALL of my students for your generosity in donating your Day of the Dead projects for either the school or to a special teacher. Your beautiful artwork is amazing. Congratulations to the winners. A special thank you to Mrs. Smith for allowing foreign languages to come and speak with your 8th graders. Thank you to Mrs. Smith, Ms. Purcell, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Hebert, Mr. Rodriguez and Mrs. Heiges for judging the Day of the Dead projects this year.
- Kyle Heller - So incredibly kind, helpful, and polite and he opens the door many mornings for not only me, but other students and teachers. A great way to start off the morning - thank you for being of service to others and doing something kind!
- A big thank you to Ms. Starner and Mrs. Hurda for keeping everyone well caffeinated
- Shoutout to Mrs. McCarney for being very supportive to her students and staff.

- Shoutout to Eliott Amerlynck and Kody Mendoza for winning the physics pumpkin launcher competition with an impressive launch of 24.00 m. The winning group from 7th period also had a spectacular launch of 22.32 m and was composed of Austin Woltz, Sam Dick, and Landen Taylor.
- Shoutout to Carter McKinney for saving his physics teacher from an attacking bee.
- Shoutout to Haley Orner, Manny Morales-Garcia, and Noah Smith for helping students who had been absent to get caught up with chemistry. Your help is greatly appreciated!
