🏡 Open Your Home to an Exchange Student!
Experience the joy of hosting an exchange student in your home! It's not just about grand adventures; it's about sharing the everyday journey together.
Catching the school bus: Start the day together with the morning rush and school drop-offs.
Grocery shopping: Explore aisles together, sharing tastes and preferences.
BBQs with hotdogs & hamburgers: Enjoy classic American cookouts and bonding over delicious meals.
Watching a baseball game on TV: Cheer for your favorite teams and explain the rules of the game.
Sunday lunches with extended family: Embrace the warmth of family gatherings and cultural exchange.
Simply being a family member, including helping with chores: Share responsibilities and create lasting memories. Volunteer host families provide support through meals at home, a comfortable bed to sleep in, and a nurturing environment.
Exchange students offer firsthand insights into a new culture, introduce unique foods, and share their perspectives. They come prepared with spending money for meals out, school supplies, activities, cell phone bills, and personal items.
Regardless of family structure, every family has something American, something unique, and love in their hearts, making ALL families great host families.
If you're ready to welcome a new son or daughter for the 2024-2025 school year, please message us or visit iwanttohost.org to learn more! Let's make meaningful connections and enrich lives together!
