Hello Summer NOE News

NOE Families,

It has been an absolute pleasure working with you and your child/children. We appreciate the trust you have in us and your continued home-school partnership! All of us at NOE hope you have a safe summer full of memorable moments!

May 30 We will travel to the auditorium to watch Mr. Jarve's Brass Quintet perform for us (thank you to our PTO for this special gift of music)

May 31 Field Day (June 3 is our weather make up day )

June 3 Full Day of school

June 4 Students will be dismissed at 11:40 & Report Cards will come home with your child

Any student medications can be picked up by a parent/guardian by 3:00 Friday, June 6.

We have a fun-filled day of activities planned for field day and are all set with volunteers. Please be sure to send your child to school in appropriate clothing and shoes so he/she can enjoy it to the fullest! And of course, they will be excited to share about all the events with you after school!

We want to celebrate and recognize the success of our 3rd graders as they prepare to move to GIS next year. Our 3rd Grade Celebratory Walk will be on June 4 at 10:30 am, weather permitting. If you plan to join us, we ask that you DO NOT park in the drive but rather personally line the front of the school so students may walk along the sidewalk. Students will remain with their teacher and return to the classroom after the walk. If you wish to sign your child out early that day, please do so through the office.

Please remember that water is acceptable in water bottles; it makes spill clean up so much easier and is a healthy option! Students should not have pop, cans or glass at school. Thank you for supporting this from home!

Some quick guidelines to keep in mind are that a child must be fever free without any fever reducing medication for 24 hours before returning to school and if a child has been throwing up or has diarrhea he/she needs to remain home for 24 hours from the last episode. And please remember to call the office to notify us of the absence.
