STEM ACADEMY OF HOLLYWOOD

Dear Families, Students, Staff and Teachers,

As we are getting closer to the end of the 2023-2024 school year, please remind our students to attend tutoring, ask for help and reach out if they need additional support.

This upcoming week STEM Academy of Hollywood will be hosting and celebrating different activities and administering important assessments.

• 11th and 12th Grade students will be taking the CA Science Test tomorrow Monday during Advisory while the other grade level students will be participating in a special activity.
• On Tuesday a group of our students will be participating in a Build Fest Competition at Loyola Marymount University. Wish them good luck!
• 10th Grade Engineering PBL Presentations will be this Wednesday from 4:00-6:00. Families are invited!
• The last A-STEM-bly of this school year is Thursday, May 23rd during Advisory, see you there!
• The Senior Capstone PBL will be on Thursday, May 23rd from 3:30-5:00.
• Awards Night and Senior Signing Day is Thursday, May 23rd at 5PM in the Auditorium. We will be recognizing students. All are welcome.
• Graduation will be on May 31st from 6:00-8:00pm. Students are expected to come to school until the semester ends. Know that we will be hosting fun activities for our Seniors. For details to come!
• Having tech trouble? Fill out a Tech Ticket HERE (make sure you are using your LAUSD account) to get help from Mr. De Leon!
• Students - we are family - keep each other safe, See Something? Say Something! by talking to an adult right away or filling out this anonymous form on our website!

Make sure to have the required chaperones if you are attending a field trip and supervise your students if they are staying on campus. Reach out if you need assistance.

• Please submit your Field Trip requests 3-5 weeks in advance in order to give the nurse time to check the list of students who are attending.
