Dear Cirby Families,

As we welcome the warmer days of May, I am excited to share with you all the wonderful things happening at Cirby. May is a very busy month here! State testing is almost wrapped up, the 5th Grade Musical is just around the corner, there is a choir performance TONIGHT, our Volunteer Reception is this week, Book Buddies are meeting, awards ceremonies are TODAY, Cirby's first ever Senior Walk, Field Day, and 5th grade promotion are just a few things coming up! (Please see the calendar below for specific days and times.)

Thank you to those families who completed our Spring parent survey! We enjoyed seeing all of the wonderful comments and insightful feedback! Congratulations to Erin Chambliss and Heather Davis for winning the $50 gas cards!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our very own MRS. EVANS for receiving the Rotary Teacher of the Year award last week. She was recognized at the Rotary Club of Roseville along with the Police and Firefighter of the year. It was a great honor and we are so proud of her!

-Please make sure we are following all traffic suggestions at pick up and drop off.

-Please NO U-TURNS. Traffic is congested and it causes even more of a backup.

-Students are not allowed to be on campus before 7:15am to eat breakfast. If they are not eating breakfast, they may come onto campus at 7:30am.

-LOST AND FOUND is overflowing. If you are missing a jacket, hoodie, water bottle, lunch box, sweater, etc please encourage your child to look for it or feel free to come after school. We are running out of room.

Hello Cirby Families! I am Mrs. Easterbrook, the Speech Language Pathologist at Cirby. I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 22 years and this is my third year at Cirby! It really is a wonderful school and I enjoy helping the students improve their speech and language skills. My family and I enjoy traveling, hiking, and all things Disney.

Congratulations to Mrs. Tiche, our new PTC President! We are excited to have you take on this position for our Cirby Eagles. We are also excited to announce Jesus Ayala as our VP of Membership! We appreciate you being a part of our Cirby PTC! Next we have Ashley Cruz as our Treasurer! We are so lucky to have you! We also have Jessica Swol as our Communications Officer. What an exciting time for Cirby PTC!

Our PBIS Incentive Rewards are coming soon! If your child has not received more than 2 office referrals for the third trimester, they will be participating in a trip to either Garbolino Park or Royer Park! Way to go Cirby Eagles! Great job for following the expectations and doing the right thing!

We have a new anonymous reporting system that the district is implementing called Stop It Solutions! It allows individuals to anonymously report safety, misconduct, or compliance concerns to help others or connect with trained Crisis Counselors from the Crisis Text Line™ to help themselves. You can find this app on our school website. You can log into this app to report a concern and it will notify administration so we can promptly address it.
