⭐ We are so excited to announce that DCHS has been named to the 2024 AP School Honor Roll!
DCHS is a bronze member of the Honor Roll for meeting the following criteria during the 2023-2024 school year:
- 40% of our graduating class took an AP Test
- 25% of our graduating class scored at least a three on one AP test
- 2% of our graduating class took at least five AP tests.
We are proud of our students and proud to provide a rigorous education for all students!
⭐ The DC Band has been invited to play in the London New Years Day Parade. This is a huge honor and testament to the hard work of all our Band students and Band teachers. Our band was featured in two news stories this past week. Click below to read more about this huge accomplishment!
⭐ We enjoyed celebrating Homecoming last week. It was great to see so many students participating in the festivities. Shoutout to Mrs. McIntosh and Mrs. Bruce for all their work on the Homecoming Dance.
Senior Student and Parent Financial Aid Presentation
We will be hosting a financial aid presentation for senior students and their parents during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 14th and Tuesday, October 15th. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. each night in the high school Student Center.
There will be a representative from UCO's financial aid office to talk about scholarships, grants, loans, and the FAFSA. Filling out the FAFSA is a graduation requirement for the Class of 2025 so come and gain some information to help you and your student!
Join us for our annual induction of the Deer Creek Schools Foundation Hall of Fame, dinner, drinks, silent and live auction items, and a FUN evening supporting Deer Creek Schools! Thursday, November 7th, 2024. This year's theme is "Glitz and Kicks" - Pair your sneakers with cocktail attire and join us for a memorable night for a wonderful cause.
