The Conejo Valley Unified School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. The CVUSD is one of just 975 school districts in the nation to earn the 2024 Best Community for Music Education distinction.
Now in its 25th year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement for providing music access and education to all students. The award program recognizes and celebrates outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
Congratulations to our CVUSD team members and community partners who work tirelessly to bring exceptional music education experiences to all students!
Tech Support: CVUSD Email Sender Glitch
We have received reports of CVUSD families receiving email correspondence from school sites with the wrong sender name listed in the "from" field. We have communicated the glitch to our mass communication platform vendor who recommends individuals experiencing this glitch on their mobile devices, clear the cache of their email app. This can be achieved on iPhones via the following steps:
How to clear email cache on iPhone:
- Go to Settings.
- Then go to Mail.
- Select Accounts and choose your email account.
- Delete Account and Delete from My iPhone.
- Go back to the Home Screen and close the running apps.
- Restart your iPhone and all of the caches from mail will be cleared.
- Once your iPhone has been rebooted, go back to Settings, Mail and choose Add Account.
We greatly apologize for any confusion that this glitch has caused. We understand that this glitch is not related to actions from our families, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of taking steps to resolve the issue on the user-end.
Should you continue to incur this issue after your email app cache is cleared, please take a screenshot of the impacted email messages and report the issue to cvusdcommunication@conejousd.org. Thank you!
CVUSD Parents/Guardians: You're Invited to the Reality Party Event on 4/27
Parents/Guardians of students in the CVUSD are invited to attend a “Reality Party for Parents" on Saturday, April 27th.

CVUSD Supports Students with Annual Prom Dress Pursuit Event
Students Score More than Goals at this Year's Unified Soccer Tournament
Last Friday, Westlake High School hosted the CVUSD Unified Soccer Tournament. In front of a full stadium, our Unified Sports Teams from all three comprehensive high schools faced off with sportsmanship, inclusion, engagement and fun on full display. Each high school's Unified Sports program joins Athletes, students with disabilities, and Unified Partners, neurotypical peers, together on the same team. The Unified Teams are comprised of approximately half Athletes, and half Unified Partners. Each school has developed a unique model of stewardship for their Unified Sports Leagues with Special Education teachers, Adapted Physical Education teachers, and a variety of staff members, lending support and guidance to the teams, where teammates quickly build bonds and friendships through sports.
A big thank you to all of our dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to make this program a success. The CVUSD is so proud of our Athletes, Unified Partners and school communities for their support of this invaluable program!
