Updates
✏️ ECU Classes end this Tuesday and exams begin on Thursday. Please be sure your leader knows when their college exams are this week.
✏️ Wednesday is Administrative Professional Appreciation Day. Please take some time to thank Mrs. Miller for all she does for Innovation.
Weekly Events
✏️ Our sophomores will participate in a required advising session with ECU on Tuesday at 12:30.
✏️ We will host a 2025 summer Costa Rica field trip information meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
✏️ Our Chemistry and Innovation Design leaders will take a field trip to the NC State Solar Lab on Wednesday.
✏️ We will host Beta Club inductions on Thursday at 5:30. Leaders who were invited to join and completed their application for Beta Club have information about the inductions and should share this information with their parents.
✏️ Friday May 3rd and May 10th are regular school days and we will release at 4:00.
✏️ We will host an Early College Kickball Game on Saturday May 4th at 2:00 at ECU Blount Fields.
✏️ We are excited to host our second annual Family Fun Night on May 10th. This event is for all families to come and enjoys games and fellowship. More details are coming soon!
✏️ Senior awards night is May 13th at 6:00 at JH Rose.
✏️ Underclassmen awards day is May 15th from 1:00-4:00. 9th grade awards are at 1:00, 10th grade at 2:00 and 11th grade at 3:00.
✏️Prom tickets will be on sale from April 1st until May 3rd. Tickets can be purchased from Mr. Grant or Ms. Putney. The cost of tickets is $45 for a single and $70 for a couple.
Senior Corner
Updates:
🎓 Our senior breakfast will be located at Julep Contemporary Kitchen, 207 B, Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, NC 27834 (inside the Hilton - Greenville), on May 13th from 9:00 - 11:00 am. All graduating seniors and super seniors are invited at no extra cost to them as long as your senior dues have been paid.
🎓 Senior Awards Night: May 13th 6:00PM at JH Rose High School. This event is for all Seniors!
🎓Senior Celebration Lunch: May 29th at 1:00 at Nash. This event is for all Seniors! Thank you to the IECHS PTSO for finding a sponsor for this event!
🎓 Graduation Date: May 30th at 5:00 pm, Graduation Practice: May 29th at 11:00.

💸 Thurgood Marshall College Fund- We have more exciting news to share with you regarding the scholarship opportunities with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
The second wave of our 2024-2025 scholarship cycle is open and we want to continue to get the word out to as many students as possible. TMCF’s mission is to ensure student success by promoting educational excellence and preparing the next generation of workforce talent through leadership development, and what better way to ensure student success than by alleviating the worries of financial stress!
TMCF Virtual Office Hours - Select Tuesdays - 10:00am - 4:00pm EST
The Scholarships Team is available via our virtual office hours on select Tuesdays from 10:00am - 4:00pm EST to answer students' questions relevant to scholarship opportunities and the application process. Please see attachment that includes the QR Code to join. There is no registration required!
