Message From the Assistant Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week, we are excited to kick off Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign that encourages students to live drug-free, healthy lifestyles. This important week is an opportunity for our school community to come together and promote positive choices and awareness about the dangers of drug use.
Hereβs how you and your child can participate:
Dress-Up Days: Each day we will have themed dress-up days to encourage student involvement and fun!
- Monday: Red is Rad. Wear Red!
- Tuesday: Team Up Against Drugs. Wear your favorite team gear.
- Wednesday: Crazy Day. Wear crazy hair, clothes, etc.
- Thursday: Costumes. Wear your Halloween costume (No full face paint, weapons, or face coverings. We need to be able to see who you are.)
Family Conversations: This week is a great opportunity to talk to your child about the importance of making safe, healthy choices. We encourage you to discuss the harmful effects of drugs and the benefits of a healthy, drug-free life.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a healthy and safe environment for all students!
Warm regards,
Tamara Carter
Assistant Principal
