Triple I Conference will be held November 18-20 and the SD81 Board of Education plans to attend.
Old Business Information
Washington School:
Kids are teachers getting acclimated to the new building.
Regarding abatement work in old building: Asbestos has been found; work starting shortly; Kids will be able to watch them take down the old building.
New Business Action
- The BOE approved the Consolidated District Plan: Dr. Boryszewski explained that this plan is written due to District 81's three schools being designated Title I. The Board reviews and grants approval every year.
Personnel Report
- Approved personnel report for the month of April.
Second Public Participation
Board members commented on LMS's musical, Matilda Jr. expressing how good it was. Dr. Boryszewski shared that she asked some students what the best part being in the play was, and a student shared that she made new friends, and it's a great experience for 6th, 7th and 8th graders to spend time together and meet people from other grades they normally would not interact with.
