This is a reminder that PSSA Math testing begins Monday, April 29th for all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Students should have a good night's rest, a balanced breakfast and should report to school on time (no later than 9:30) for our first testing session to begin. We will continue to serve breakfast at school as well. Please talk to your child about the importance of trying their best on the test as this is a measurement that shows how much our students have grown academically!

We will test Monday and Tuesday for Math and then Wednesday and Thursday for Science for 4th grade students only. Please note that all student cell phones and smart watches will be collected during the testing window. If you do not want your student's cell phone/devices collected, please keep them at home during the testing window.

On Friday, April 26th, the East Fallowfield staff came together to support 3rd Grade teacher, Jessica Adams, whose husband was deployed at the beginning of this year. The staff is eager to support her and her two boys in anyway that we can, including wearing red.

Red Fridays were created to remind people of our heroes overseas and show that we are thinking of them. People across the country wear red every Friday to serve as a reminder and spread the message of how important it is that we keep our troops in our thoughts.

On Thursday April 18th we were fortunate enough to have volunteers from "Partners in Outreach" bring books to all of the students at East Fallowfield Elementary School. Each grade level received a beautiful new book and some of the grade levels had a volunteer from the community program read the book to the class before gifting it to them. This community group is looking to partner with us in the fall and spring again next year. What a wonderful program East Fallowfield is proud to be a part of!

Last week, 3rd graders from Mrs. Kline's class, Jayceon and Agustin turned in 1,000 Class Dojo points to be Principals for the Day! The boys made excellent principals, helping in the office and around the school. They even had a chance to do classroom observations and give positive feedback to some of our amazing teachers!

Congratulations to 3rd grade students, Luis and Alex, who turned in their Class Dojo points for the PBIS Reward of being Mrs. Frost's office helpers for the day! The boys were super professional and helpful during their time in the office! Keep up the great work!

Please join us on Wednesday, May 8th for our first annual Arts Night! Our students art work will be on display, we will have musicians performing, and a lot of other fun events! We hope you can join us!

Art to Remember is an organization that takes students' artwork and creates customizable gifts for kids and their families to enjoy. All of the money raised goes back to the art program in order for us to continue creating awesome art. First, students create drawings, paintings, and other two-dimensional art. Then, it is all submitted to Art to Remember, and they photograph and scan them. Forms are sent back to the school and students of their artwork with a personal QR code. Family, friends, and teachers can scan the codes to shop online for items with the students work on them. When ordering is complete the items are sent to the school and given to the students. The kids feel special seeing their art come to life and have something to remember the experience by.

Chromebooks

• Please be sure to send your child back to school with their district-issued Chromebook and charger if they took it home for the summer.
• If your child turned in their Chromebook at the end of the year, they will be distributed within the first few days of school.
• If your child is in kindergarten or new to the district, laptops will be distributed within the first weeks of school.
• Technology Insurance Fees (TIF) can be made via RevTrak on the school district’s website: https://coatesvillearea.revtrak.net/casd-technology/.

The district is continuing our contract with A Child’s Place as our before and after care provider. Please see the attached flyer below for information about rates and how to enroll your child. We are happy to announce that we will have both before and after care at East Fallowfield this year!
