Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to invite you to participate in the newly formed Special Education Engagement Team (SEET), a district-wide initiative designed to strengthen family engagement with Special Education services in MSBSD. This group is being created in response to parent requests for more information and opportunities to share their voices regarding Special Education services.

SEET will be a collaborative effort between parents, community partners, the Office of Teaching and Learning and Special Education Office to address topics important to families of students with IEPs and 504 plans. The group is expected to meet quarterly during the 2025-26 school year.

The first SEET meeting will be held on:

📍 Small Board Room, MSBSD Administration Building

During this initial meeting, we will establish the group’s purpose and norms and provide an overview of Special Education services in MSBSD.
