Tuesday Kick-Off
Horn Frog Nation
September 3, 2024
Dear Family,
I hope you had a peaceful and relaxing weekend.
Communication is crucial to our success. We have of course email, Canvas, and ClassDojo to communicate. You should be checking your emails daily. Responding to correspondence within 48 hours.
The StopIt app is used for emergency reporting but it can be used to practice our drills. If you do not have the app on your phone, please come see me. I will make sure you have the right one. When operating properly you should receive multiple notification. This system also allows us to communicate during an emergency.
Please keep your radios on and volume up during business hours. It is not to be used for casual conversations but emergencies. Right now our fire pull stations are down. So either the emergency will come across the radi or Stopit and/or both.
To Do's:
- Get some grades in the gradebook. Progress Reports go out in 9 school days.
- Attendance - taken every class section everyday and taken accurately.
- Vote for student and staff member of the month below.
- Complete all BOY diagnostics. Don't forgot to make sure everyone completes the math IXL.
- You must complete your required annual training and upload your certificates to Eduphoria by September 13th. I will pull a report at the end of the month to see where we are as a campus.
- I have updated the master schedule under the Special education tab, to show when students have speech, OT, counseling, and dyslexia pullouts.
"Though you can't always drive improvements through other people and sometimes not even through a team. You can always be an example of Improvement. Remember the way the word is spelled says it the best, "IMPROVEMENT BEGINS WITH I." - Lean Strategies International LLV
