As you likely remember, Snail Lake serves kindergarten students who will attend grades 1-5 at either Island Lake Elementary or Turtle Lake Elementary. Since each homeroom has students who will attend both elementary schools, all students at Snail Lake will be included in both the Island Lake and Turtle Lake yearbooks. We recommend that families purchase the yearbook from the elementary school that their student will be attending in 1st grade.

The Mounds View Schools Education Foundation is seeking volunteers for their annual Rock the School House event on November 9, 2024. To join the volunteer committee, fill out this form.

Snail Lake Kindergarten Center is a participant in the Groceries for Good Causes program. The Groceries for Good Causes program allows shoppers to choose which neighborhood organizations matter most to them. Simply drop your grocery receipt in one of the bins to "vote" for the organization you'd like to support, and Kowalski's will donate a percentage of their quarterly charitable giving budget based on the number of receipts in each box.

All employee bargaining group contracts have been settled for the next two years.

Accidentally return our Snail Lake book to the wrong library? If returned at another Mounds View school, it will be sent to us. If returned to the public library, please pick up the book and have your child bring it back to Snail Lake.
