Our company teams are competing in their first competition of the year this month! Come down to see the dances or watch via livestream! Here's the approximate schedule for our dances!

On Pointe is adding a new fundraiser this year! Nothing Bundt Cakes are the most amazing little cakes and The Sweetest Way to raise money towards tuition and other costs!

Fundraiser Cake Flavors Available:

Individual Bundtlet Cost: $6.50

Flyers are available at the desk and orders are due Thursday, March 26th at 8pm. Pickup will be Friday, April 11th, 4-7pm.

Calling all dads and dancers! The daddy daughter dance is a great opportunity to spend quality time together while entertaining the audience at recital.

Any dancers and dads that would like to participate will need to register and attend practices, rehearsals and the recital!

Practices: Sundays, 1-2pm:

• March 16
• March 23
• April 13
• May 18
• June 1

Dress Rehearsal: June 5th/6th

Recital: June 7th

The only extra cost for this dance will be for a t-shirt for both dancer and dad. Final costs will be sent out once we know who is participating. Dads need no experience! All ages of dancers are welcome!

You may find your dancer needing new shoes for recital - either because they’re getting tight or they have danced holes in them! Stop by the front desk by March 13th to have your dancer sized for new ballet, jazz, lyrical or tap shoes! Prices vary for shoes.

If so, we need to know their street shoe size! Please take a moment to fill out this form to help us order their shoes! Shoes were included in the recital fee for levels one and up.

Wandrie’s Wishes is a group of thoughtful people who want to bless others lives by giving rather than receiving. If this sounds like you, please consider joining their facebook group! This group supports many great causes and they are very near and dear to our hearts.

Wandrie's Wishes are currently looking for donors to donate items or raffle baskets for their Silent Auction during their Annie fundraiser. You can find more information in their facebook group, or email office@onpointedance.com and we will put you in touch! Don’t have anything to donate at this time? Scoop up your littles and some friends and attend the sing-a-long movie event!

Students are encouraged to attend all classes during the recital season. More than five absences in one class must be made up in order to participate in the recital. Absences must be reported in the parent portal or called in to the studio by 4pm each day, with a reason given. Excused absences can be made up in another class of the same genre within the same month and must be scheduled through the front desk. Excused absences are sickness, injuries preventing class observance, graded school performances such as choir, band, or theatre and important family functions such as weddings and funerals.

If a student is to miss a lesson, notice must be given directly to the instructor by 12pm on the day (Mon-Fri) of the lesson or it will be counted as unexcused and unable to be made up. Saturday absences must be communicated by 8am. In order for a student to make-up an absence, the make-up must be made on a day provided by the instructor. If a student misses the make-up, they will not be permitted to reschedule. Any lessons canceled by the instructor will be communicated and make-ups will be offered.

If you don't have a printer, we do have printed copies of the registration form at the studio for you to fill out the first week. We also keep the welcome letter, policy information and calendar at the bottom of each monthly newsletter and in the parent portal.

We highly recommend using the parent portal. All emails that we send to you through DanceStudio-Pro are kept there for easy reference, as well as newsletters, policy information, our welcome letter and calendar. We post recital music and costume information in the portal, including pictures! You can also note upcoming absences! (Music students - please follow the attendance policy to ensure availability of a make-up lesson.) You can see the status of your account and any balance due, any charges posted, even make online payments! You can access the parent portal through any browser or download the app from the App Store or Google Play Here's a video about the parent portal!
