Dear Lincoln School Families,
On behalf of the Lincoln School staff, we are so grateful to have worked with you and your child this school year.
To our Kindergarten families, we wish you all the best as you transition to elementary school. May your child remain curious and eager to grow new relationships. Please keep in touch โ we appreciate hearing about our studentsโ progress!
To our returning families, we look forward to seeing you in the Fall. In the upcoming school year, there will be many new learning experiences to share with your child. By that time, your child will have grown a bit more expressive โ weโll enjoy hearing all about their summer adventures!
As we take the summer to rest and recharge, please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.
Many thanks for your partnership and support throughout the year, and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable summer!

FROM THE DISTRICT
GENESIS PARENT PORTAL
As we prepare to head off into summer, this is a friendly reminder that parents/guardians will receive an email in mid-August with a link to the 2024-2025 Back-to-School Packet of required forms. You must complete these electronic forms before gaining access to your child(ren)'s class assignments/schedule in the Genesis Parent Portal. Finalized class assignments for the 2024-2025 academic year will become available in late August.
FOR FAMILIES WITH OLDER STUDENTS
Over the summer, students will continue to have access to our network resources to support their learning. Whether using a district-issued Chromebook or logging in with their district account, our network security features will remain active, including our web filter and Gaggle Safety Management System. As previously communicated, whenever a student is logged into district accounts or devices, our safety management system monitors student email, web searches, chats, and browser activity for any signs of self-harm, cyberbullying, or other potentially harmful behaviors. Any concerning content is flagged and forwarded to school and district administration.
During the summer, we will contact parents if an alert is brought to our attention to ensure they are informed. Depending on the severity of the alert, responses could include an email or phone call from an administrator or outreach to the Westfield Police Department.
Please remind your students to use their school-issued devices and accounts solely for educational purposes. As always, students are expected to adhere to the district's Device Acceptable Use Agreement when using school-issued devices. Please review the district's policy regarding School District-Provided Technology to Students to ensure your child uses their device appropriately.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your school's principal.

JOIN THE PTO EXECUTIVE BOARD IN 2024-25
A Message from the Lincoln School PTO:
The PTO is a fun and rewarding way to be a vibrant part of our Lincoln family. No experience required! This is a great opportunity to get involved, to help make a great year for your Lincoln student, and to meet other parents!
We are gathering interest now for roles on the Lincoln PTO Executive Board for next year. The board meets once a month, either virtually or in person. Much of the work is done independently between meetings, and the time commitment required ebbs and flows through the year.
Committees and Class Parent volunteer sign-ups will be separately sent in the fall and are other opportunities to get involved.
Click below to see descriptions of Executive Board roles, and submit your interest now!
