To Prepare: 3 Items
Before Thursday, gather 3 interesting items you can use for our game. You´ll need to have them available and be able to show them on camera during the game, so choose wisely. (HINT: Your dog or a giant unicorn stuffie that is larger than your bed would NOT make good choices for this game. HAHA!)
We'll use these items on Thursday for our game. I can't wait to chat with you all!
Important Reminder
There are two reasons this could be happening:
1. The assignments are not actually being completed.
2. The assignments are being done in a separate google doc or slideshow, and not the one assigned through Google Classroom.
Just a reminder: If an assignment asks students to type on a doc or slideshow, it must be done THROUGH GOOGLE CLASSROOM, not in a separate doc or slideshow, as I won't be able to view it.
Please be sure all assignments are completed through Google Classroom. Thank you for your help with this!
Daily Assignments: Monday, April 27
Watch the instructional video and numberock video on ordering decimals and complete the Google Doc in Google Classroom to practice ordering decimals from least to greatest and greatest to least. Remember to look at the greatest place value first, and then look at tenths, hundredths, thousandths etc...
Reading:
Read through the slideshow AND WATCH THE VIDEOS to learn about NONFICTION TEXT STRUCTURES (THIS IS NEW INFORMATION). Text Structure is the way a piece of text is organized!
Writing:
Complete the google form to answer questions about each text structure. You may want to look back at the slides for support.
