A Message from the Principal
It's a Great Day to Be an Eagle! Tomorrow at 10:17 a.m., we will participate in "The Great Shake Out" Students will practice what to do in the event in an emergency. We will also have the LBFD join us in to make sure that we are following evacuation procedures in a timely manner. Additionally, you may receive a message from the district letting you know that we are practicing the drill as well. We are finally feeling our fall weather, which means our eagles may need a jacket or sweater to keep warm. Please make sure that you check the lost and found, or their classroom, if they leave their items behind. Also, please remember to keep saving and uploading your receipts for our School Cents Fundraiser. You can see what our current rank is below.
With respect and admiration,
Dr. Dominguez, Principal

SCHOOL CENTS FUNDRAISER - SEPT 1 THROUGH APRIL 30
This year we are excited to announce that Emerson will be participating in the School Cents fundraiser. We have an opportunity to raise money by shopping at any of the following shopping Centers through April 30th - Lakewood Mall, Los Cerritos Mall, and Stonewood Center. The only thing we need from families is your receipts uploaded to their website from any participating stores it those centers. They can either be dropped off at the school for us to upload, they can be emailed to Emerson directly (a link will be provided before Friday), or they can be uploaded by the person making the purchase. Friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and anyone else who you'd like to invite can participate.
If your family is planning a trip to Pa's Pumpkin patch between now and October 31st, save your receipts! This counts towards our School Cents Fundraiser. You can upload the receipts yourself, or drop them off in the office and we can do the work for you. 🎃
Don't forget to print out the form for any E-Waste being donated so Emerson gets credit! Link is below.
